The Gift of a Generous Christmas

For many people Christmas is a time for exchanging gifts and seeing family, for resting and indulging.

But for some Christmas is a time of despair and difficulty as they struggle to provide for their families and stay out of poverty.

This Advent we are going to connect with people for whom Christmas brings worry and financial difficulty, and partner with organisations that are seeking to bring the hope of Jesus to them.

Below is the programme for our advent series with details of how you can get involved. We have two Sunday Services at G2 - click here for more info. If you are not a regular at Church then you are most welcome to join us at either service.

We are partnering with Besom to produce 10 hampers for families in need this Christmas. What could you donate to a struggling family? As a Church family we will work together to create beautiful hampers to bless others. At G2 City our very own choir will be performing!

Click below for a list of suggested items and details of the families we will be blessing.

Guest speaker Esther Swaffield-Bray from IJM will sharing her passion to end slavery in our lifetime and exploring what this Christmas might look like to the people IJM are working with.

The choir will perform at G2 Burnholme

Christians against poverty

Annabel Hawkins will be sharing her experience of working for CAP and looking at how we are called to give from a generous heart.

At G2 Burnholme we will also have the famous kids nativity!

We will round off our Christmas series by looking at the perfect gift of Jesus. Dan Finn will guide us through how we can respond to the good news of the birth of Jesus.
