Join us on Sunday
We have two services every Sunday afternoon at Central Methodist Church in York city centre. Everyone is welcome, no matter what your belief or background, it is a great chance to meet new people and make friendships.
Two Great Sunday Services to CHOOSE FROM
The 3.45pm is a service for everyone. There is a créché area for parents to use with their children and organised children's groups from aged 2 to 11 and a program for youth. If you are a family with children, this is the service for you ... but this is definitely a service for everyone: children, youth, students, 20s, 30s and more.
The 6:30pm is a service that aims to be innovative and create space to dig deep. There is no provision for children at this service, but older youth are very welcome.
What to expect?
You are welcome to arrive before the service where you should find a cup of half-decent coffee awaiting you!
At the start of the service the theme of the meeting will be explained followed by some music and worship – feel free at this point to join in or just listen. The main part of each G2 meeting is a talk based on a passage or topic from the Bible.

The parking meter only takes change. Sainsbury will refund parking up to £4.50 with a £10 purchase in store. Please note that this carpark adjoins another carpark that has different charging terms.
There is disabled access to our Sunday meeting including 'blue badge' parking on St Saviourgate and ramp access to the building.
