The G2 Leadership Team is the group collectively responsible for all of the areas of G2 and for future planning. This team works with a wider group of volunteers working in different areas. The G2 Leadership Team is accountable to the Vicar and PCC of St Michael le Belfrey Church.

Christian Selvaratnam is married to Amanda and has 3 children.  He works for Alpha International looking after the churches in the North of England running the Alpha course and in his spare time enjoys running and curry!  He is ordained in the Church of England and is the G2 Team Leader.

Luke Smith works for Fusion, an organisation that seeks to plug students into local churches and equip churches to do effective student work. He is married to Hannah who is outstanding. It is likely that he will be down to 15 handicap before the end of the year and he makes proper good fudge. Luke is the G2 Networker.

Hannah Smith is a primary school teacher in York.  She has been married to Luke for 3 years and enjoys playing netball for a local team, and will try her hand at any sport given the opportunity.  She is passionate about exploring how Church in the 21st Century can be relevant to the average person.

Pippa Winterburn graduated from York Uni in History last summer, and stayed on to do a year working with G2.  She enjoys travelling and reading, and has enjoyed having time to do at least one of them now her degree is done!  Pippa is going to be with G2 for a second year, working mainly with G2’s students.

Mike Rutter is a primary school teacher and is also training for Ordained Pioneer Ministry in the Church of England. He is married to Pip and has 3 young children. As a result he has no spare time but on the odd occasion he manages to get some he loves to compose music on his computer.

Dan Finn is the Team Leader at a local christian charity – York Schools and Youth Trust (www.yoyotrust.org.uk). He is married to Susie and has a wonderful little boy who seems to have boundless energy! Dan loves his sport and plays centre-mid for the Jorvik Blades Football club – some people say he looks like Xabi Alonso of the mighty Liverpool, but Dan has an awful long way to go before he can impersonate Xavi’s football skills as well as his looks! He loves music and studied it at both degree and masters level at York University. Dan coordinates the music for G2.
