G2 is led by a Core Team who are responsible for direction and oversight of G2. This group is accountable to Matthew Porter, the vicar of St Michael le Belfrey and to the Church Council. There is also a wider Leadership Team which is a group of people who lead a particular area of G2′s daily life.

Christian Selvaratnam is married to Amanda and has 3 children.  He works for Alpha International looking after the churches in the North of England running the Alpha course and in his spare time enjoys running and curry!  He is ordained in the Church of England and is the G2 Team Leader.

Luke Smith works for Fusion, an organisation that seeks to plug students into local churches and equip churches to do effective student work. He is married to Hannah who is outstanding. He enjoys mowing stripes into his lawn, eating soft boiled quail eggs and facts about birds of prey.

Hannah Smith is a primary school teacher in York.  She has been married to Luke for 3 years and enjoys playing netball for a local team, and will try her hand at any sport given the opportunity.  She is passionate about exploring how Church in the 21st Century can be relevant to the average person.

Andy Falconer is Headmaster of St Olave’s school in York, a private day and boarding school. He is married to Lesley and with three little girls, finds himself living in a very pink and fluffy world. Passionate about skiing, and all things to do with leadership and management.
