Many of you will be aware of the fantastic work of the York Schools and Youth Trust in and around schools in the York area.

We would love to commend to you a special fund-raising evening which YOYO are having on 31 May. There will be a lovely buffet, music from the Soul Fingers and other entertainment - click on the picture (right) for more info.

Tickets are priced at £10 - £30 (pay what you feel able).

There is also an auction of promises and things as part of the fundraising fun. If you have anything you could donate to this it would be great. Be creative in what you can offer. So far we have things like theatre tickets, a box of wine, some goodies from Starbucks etc. Any ideas you have would be great. Do any of you have contacts with shops who might donate? Do any of you run businesses which could make a donation to the auction?
