And some extra info here….

If you remember, a few months ago, the local child welfare judge summoned two of our boys to see her. She has the power to take the boys out of the project and to send them home. Brazilian law prohibits orphanages, so if the boy’s life is no longer in danger she has the power to send them back to their families regardless of the family situation… i.e. the boy might have changed but many of the families just dont have the means to look after their children and so if the family hasn’t changed then the boy will slip back into his old way of life and, within a few weeks or months, his life will be in danger once again.

G2 Connects to Fusion

fusion-name

G2 is now officially connected to Fusion. You may of heard of Fusion already. Luke Smith works for them when he is not working with G2.

Fusion will help to train those at G2 who work with students and will provide resources to help us develop our student mission. They also help to connect sixth formers all over the country to churches in the city where they go to uni.

Fusion are a great organisation and we share a lot in common with them. We are confident that connection to Fusion will have lots of positive knock on effects through out what we do.

For more information on what they do, have a look at the Fusion website here.
